This exhibition is a grouping of several installation works from 1995 - 2007.
The works become cohesive in the gallery space as they relate in process, and the common threads become apparent to the viewer as the work consistently addresses intimacy, relationship and identity.

Whiten's process includes embroidering text on found garments. The quality of these garments speaks of femininity and domesticity. The addition of hair gives the pieces a haunting human quality. Some of the works have been transformed into lighting installations while others are framed in a more traditional manner.
